The Bodrum Cup regatta in October is a major yachting event.
For the younger visitors there is a park with a playground, and a shaded pergola for the adults, just across the road from Villa Firinci.
On the local beach at Torba there are a number of watersports available, including jet-skis, banana boats and parasailng.
Two new golf courses are due to be completed in 2008 and are situated just 20 minutes' drive from the villa.
